Founding pilot terms
Version 1.3 · 8 October 2026
These terms apply to the Garlic founding pilot and, as clause 12 says, to the free Garlic Score. Garlic is a trading name of Gible Ltd. We've kept them short and in plain English. If anything is unclear, write to hello@garlic.is before you pay.
1. Who we are, and who this is for
"We" and "us" mean Gible Ltd, trading as Garlic, registered in England and Wales under company number 13860398, with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
The pilot is sold to businesses. "You" means the business that pays. By paying, you agree to these terms, and you confirm that you can agree to them for your business.
2. What you get
The pilot gives you 90 days of Garlic Protect, as described on garlic.is when you buy. We read the usage logs you send us, look for extraction patterns, and have a person review what we find before you see it. We don't need access to your systems. You send us an export. We provide the pilot with reasonable skill and care.
There are 5 founding pilot places, one per business.
The 90 days start on the day we email you to say we've received your first usable log export. If we haven't received one within 30 days of your payment, the 90 days start then.
To make it work, you agree to:
- sign our data processing agreement before you send any logs;
- prepare your logs as described in "Garlic Score: what to send" (pseudonymised account IDs, hashed IP addresses);
- not deliberately send us special category data, payment data, credentials or your system prompt.
3. Price and payment
The pilot costs $1,500, paid once, in US dollars, by card through Stripe. Stripe sends you a receipt and an invoice.
Prices don't include tax. We aren't registered for VAT today, so we don't charge it. If that changes, we'll tell you before we charge you any.
The pilot never renews on its own. We won't charge you anything more unless you choose to subscribe (clause 5).
4. Refund within 14 days
You can cancel and get all $1,500 back if you ask within 14 days of paying. You don't have to give a reason.
To ask, reply to your confirmation email or write to hello@garlic.is from the address you paid with. We refund the full amount to the card you paid with and confirm by email. Your bank usually shows it within 5 to 10 business days.
If you cancel, the pilot ends and we delete your logs as the data processing agreement says.
After 14 days the fee isn't refundable. This doesn't affect any rights you have by law. If a charge looks wrong, write to hello@garlic.is first, before contacting your bank.
5. Credit towards your first year
If you subscribe to Garlic Monitor or Garlic Protect within 30 days after your pilot ends, we credit the full $1,500 against what we invoice you in your first 12 months. The credit is applied automatically to your invoices until it's used up.
The credit has no cash value and can't be transferred. It doesn't apply if you were refunded or if you subscribe later than 30 days after the pilot ends.
Founding prices are yours to keep for your first 12 months as a subscriber:
| Per month | Includes | Then, per 1,000 monthly active users | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Garlic Monitor | $500 | 10,000 monthly active users | $40 |
| Garlic Protect | $1,200 | 10,000 monthly active users | $60 |
Subscribing is your choice, and we'll agree it with you in writing first.
6. Your data
Before you send logs, we sign a data processing agreement. You are the controller of your users' personal data, and we process it only on your instructions. That agreement, together with our privacy notice, covers the details. If it conflicts with these terms on data protection, the data processing agreement wins.
In short:
- We process your logs only on computers and servers that Garlic controls, in the UK and the EU. We never send them to AI model providers or paste them into AI tools.
- We delete raw logs within 30 days of delivering the report they were used for, and earlier if the pilot ends.
- We may keep de-identified signals: numbers and verdicts with no question text, no account, session or IP identifiers, and no mention of you. You can ask us to stop and delete them at any time.
- We keep your logs, reports and findings confidential. We won't name you as a customer or use your logo without asking.
7. Evidence, never proof
Garlic reports show patterns in your logs that are consistent with extraction, and how much of your product an account covered. They are evidence, never proof.
A finding is not a finding of wrongdoing, and it isn't legal advice. We can't tell you who is behind an account or what they intend. A person reviews every report, but we can still miss things or get things wrong, and we don't promise to find all extraction or to stop it. You decide what to do with what we tell you. Before you name a person or company, or take legal action, take your own advice.
8. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Apart from that, our total liability to you for everything connected with the pilot is limited to the amount you paid for it, $1,500. We aren't liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses. Liability for personal data is dealt with in the data processing agreement.
9. Ending early
You can stop at any time, but after 14 days the fee isn't refunded. We can end the pilot if you break these terms, for example by sending data we asked you not to send. If we end it and you haven't broken these terms, we refund the fee for the days left.
10. Who owns what
You keep all rights in your logs, and you let us use them only to provide the pilot. You own the reports we deliver to you, and you may share them with your advisers, investors and insurers. We keep all rights in our tools, our methods, the Garlic name and logo, and the de-identified signals described in clause 6.
11. Everything else
These terms and the data processing agreement are the whole agreement between us for the pilot. When you buy, you aren't relying on anything we said that isn't written in them. That doesn't limit liability for fraud.
Neither of us is responsible for a delay caused by something outside our reasonable control, other than a duty to pay. You can't transfer the pilot to anyone else without our written consent. We may transfer it to a business that takes over Garlic, on the same terms. Nobody other than you and us can enforce these terms (Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999). We send notices to the email address you paid with, and you send yours to hello@garlic.is.
We may change these terms for future pilots. The version in force when you pay applies to you.
English law governs these terms, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. The free Garlic Score
The free Garlic Score is a one-off, person-reviewed report on 7 days of your logs. It costs nothing, and asking for one doesn't commit you to buy anything. We do a limited number each week and tell you your place in line when you ask.
Before you send logs, we sign the same data processing agreement as for the pilot, and clause 6 applies to them: we process them only on systems Garlic controls, never send them to AI model providers, and delete raw logs within 30 days of delivering your Score. We aim to deliver within 48 hours of receiving a usable export, as described in "Garlic Score: what to send".
Clauses 7, 10 and 11 apply to the free Score too. Because it is free, our total liability for it is limited to $100, apart from liability the law doesn't allow us to limit (clause 8).
